such as:
- In what ways might we as lay people be involved in Church?
- In what ways might we support the Church?
- In what ways might we as lay people have ownership of our church?
- Utilize our trained leaders
- More laity involved (trained)
- Make best use of our human resources
- Pay laity (remunerate)
- More married men and women active in the liturgy
- Archdiocese provide a directive to parishes regarding the benefits for all permanent and permanent part-time employees
- More participation of lay people
- All parishioners become active
- Visit elderly, join choir, educate
- Parish will not have a regular priest - just a visiting priest, perhaps once a month. Lay services becoming more important
- A team ministry in which the pastor and the laity will play greater roles as administrators, educators, decision-makers and implementers
- Change name to Baptized Ministry
- Open the Gospel sharing time when preparing for lay services to all parishioners
- Co-presiding for equality - married couples or singles (male and female)
- RCIA a success. Spread the word.
- We need more courses offered in more locations. Increase training offered.
- More RCIA programs - good education
- Every Catholic follow RCIA program - then have an update every ten years
- Celebrate our lay people, lay ministry service. Let our retired priests retire
- Clarify roles of lay ministers
- What is liturgically correct? Let this go - be more flexible
- Lay Chaplains and parish workers should be given permission to administer the Sacrament of the Sick
- Be more democratic in power sharing. Parishioners should be in on priest selection committee
- Power is corruption - share the power
- Allow lay ministry to maintain the Church
