May 26, 2009 The husband and wife team of Ben and Clare Ferner was one of two husband and wife units among 28 participants to graduate May 26 from the Parish Home Ministry of Care program. Reverend John Mock presented the Ferners with their certificate. Other presenters included hospital chaplains Karen Ziegler and Cliff Geiger. The program is delivered in 5 evening sessions over a 5 week period and equips participants to be effective visitors to shut ins. Formerly hosted by the now closed John Paul II Centre, it is now delivered through Holy Child parish in Regina.  Enlarge |
