Update - January 11, 2010
Since the decision to prorogue parliament has been made, please keep in mind, this decision does not affect Private Member's Bills. Bill C-384 is expected to be debated and voted on in early March.
If you have not written or visited your MP, I encourage you to do so at your earliest convenience and to encourage others to write letters as well.
Early March for the vote, unless of course, Ms. Lalonde trades up again which she has done
3 times already. We believe this to be a stall tactic so there will not be a vote as we are sure she is aware she does not have the support and does not want the vote to show this. A lot of people go with what the news media tells them. If the vote would show the lack of support for euthanasia, many people would make the same decision if they are still undecided at this point.
Your support is appreciated in passing this on.

How You Can Help
The headlines in both the July and August issues of the Prairie
Messenger read “ Engage in battle against euthanasia: bishops” and “CWL registers objection to euthanasia”.
I realize that some parishes have already taken initiatives to inform their parishioners about Bill C-384 which is a private member’s bill which seeks to legalize euthanasia and assisted suicide.
We need to maintain the political pressure on every MP in Canada. We need you to call, email or send hand-written letters to your MP. Thank you to those who have already taken action.
