• Roman Catholic in good standing with a lived faith including the sacraments and an active prayer life.
• A basic knowledge of Catholic theology and Church teaching, with a BA in Theology or Religious Studies or a related field.
• Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies recognized by WCACYM.
• 2 years of professional experience in Catholic youth ministry.
• Direct programming: Implementing the mandate and goals of the Archdiocese by working with a core team of young people and adults.
• Leadership development: recruiting and training youth and adult volunteers while providing a comprehensive vision of Youth Ministry for the Archdiocese.
• Administration: coordinating an efficient ministry office and working collaboratively with the Deans, Pastors and Pastoral Staff of the Archdiocese and reporting directly to the Director of Pastoral Services.
• The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, articulate, passionate about the Catholic faith and able to inspire youth to lead a Christian life.
