Prairie Messenger Contact Info
Archdiocescan Newsletter Contact Info

Communications for the Archdiocese of Regina is largely through the Prairie Messenger, a weekly newspaper published by the Benedictines at St. Peter's Abbey in Muenster, Saskatchewan.

The current corresponding editor for the Prairie Messenger is Frank Flegel.   Besides writing for the Prairie Messenger, he is available as a consultant to parishes and Archdiocesan organizations to advise on communications and public relations issues.

Frank gathers stories from around the archdiocese and submits them to the Prairie Messenger for publication. In order to do that effectively, he needs contacts in the deaneries who will let him know what is happening locally.

The Prairie Messenger is interested in social justice, aboriginal, educational, agricultural and human interest stories. Events are covered either by Frank himself, or by someone from the deanery who could write the story or gather the information and send it to Frank for editing.
